It also manages Elo Trease Warehouse in Ughelli, providing essential storage solutions. In the manufacturing and production space, the group operates Elo Water in Otokutu, Warri, and EJ Bakery in Warri. Additionally, Honour Flow owns Elo Ice Cream, delivering sweet treats, alongside a fuel station and gas station serving the energy needs of the community. The group also holds Revelation Bank in Ughelli, contributing to the financial sector.

Job Overview

• The Bakery Auditor at Honour Flow Group of Company will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial and operational processes within the bakery.
• This role involves conducting audits, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct Audits:

• Perform regular audits of bakery operations, including financial transactions, inventory management, and production processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.

Data Analysis:

• Analyze financial data, production reports, and inventory levels to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement.
• Utilize auditing software to streamline data collection and reporting processes.

Product Usage Tracking:

• Monitor and track the quantity of raw materials and ingredients used during production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze usage patterns to identify trends and reduce waste.

Operational Review:

• Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of bakery operations, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with bakery management to develop action plans based on audit results.

Compliance Monitoring:

• Monitor adherence to health and safety standards, quality control procedures, and food safety regulations.
• Ensure that proper documentation is maintained for all auditing activities.

Training and Support:

• Provide guidance and training to bakery staff on compliance and operational best practices.
• Assist in the implementation of new processes and systems as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in auditing, accounting, or financial analysis (minimum of 2 years preferred).
• Knowledge of bakery operations and food industry regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in auditing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills:

• Ability to track product usage during production and analyze data for efficiency improvements.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control techniques.
• Familiarity with auditing standards and practices.
