Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Title: IM&T Infrastructure Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job Type: Permanent/Full time

Job Description

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage systems, and communication systems.
• Ensure the effective management, storage, and retrieval of company data, including the implementation of robust data management policies and procedures.
• Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions, to protect the company’s data and IT assets.
• Champion IT projects including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify and implement opportunities for improving IT infrastructure and information management processes, enhancing efficiency, reliability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field. Possession of a Masters degree will be an added advantage.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., ITIL, CCNA, CISSP, etc.) is required.
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management with at least 3 years in a supervisory level.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage systems, and cloud technologies.
• Experience in managing data and information systems, including database administration, data governance and data security.
• Understanding of network security principles, cyber threats, and mitigation strategies, with hands-on experience in implementing security solutions.
