Job Title: Business Sales Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Job Summary

  • The Sales Manager will lead the sales team in achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.
  • This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the sales department.
  • The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying market opportunities, building strong client partnerships, and ensuring that the sales team performs effectively and meets or exceeds sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business goals and increase market share.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and partnerships to drive sales growth.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, markets, and customer segments.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Recruit, train, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance.
  • Set sales targets for team members, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans for the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Handle high-level negotiations and resolve any customer issues or complaints.
  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Prepare and present salesReports,Presentations, Forecasts
  • Use sales data and CRM systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide insights on market dynamics, competition, and customer needs.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings with potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven experience (6+ years) in a sales leadership role, preferably in Energy, Oil and Gas, mining and Real Estate Industry.
  • Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales management tools.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience inEnergy, Oil and Gas, mining and Real Estate Industry.
  • Knowledge of the latest sales techniques and market trends.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
