• We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiologist to join our diagnostic lab team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting medical images, providing accurate diagnoses, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care. 
• This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, continuous learning, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What to Expect

• Analyze and interpret a variety of imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and mammograms.
• Provide timely and accurate reports on imaging findings to referring physicians
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and alleviate concerns.
• Discuss imaging results with patients and referring physicians, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy    and efficiency of imaging services.
• Review and verify images for quality and completeness.
• Work closely with radiology technicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient management plans
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards, including radiation safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing radiological practices.

Essential Qualification, Experience and Skills

• Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Experience range (Years): 8 years - 12 years
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Valid state medical license.
• Previous experience in a diagnostic radiology setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques (e.g., MRI, CT) is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in using radiology information systems and electronic medical records.
• This position may require working in a fast-paced clinical environment with exposure to radiation and other hazards associated with diagnostic imaging. The Radiologist may need to work irregular hours or be on-call for emergency cases.
