Job Title: Facilities / Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining and repairing hotel facilities.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems are functioning properly to provide guests with a comfortable and safe environment.
- This role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair work for various systems, including having knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Maintain and manage the hotel's maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to schedule maintenance work and minimize disruption to guests.
- Oversee the maintenance of the hotel's equipment and machinery to prevent breakdowns.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and order new materials as needed.
- Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of hotel assets.
- Provide emergency repairs to minimize inconvenience to guests and staff.
- Ensure all work is completed in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Requirements
- BSc / HND / B.Eng training in maintenance-related fields is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certification in maintenance or related fields is a plus.
Experience:
- Proven track record of performing maintenance tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Experience in a hospitality setting is highly desirable (preferably Hotel).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
