Job Title: Procurement Pharmacist

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.
• The Procurement Pharmacist will be responsible for overseeing the purchase and supply of pharmaceutical products, ensuring the highest quality and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining inventory levels to avoid shortages.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding pharmaceutical procurement.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy, finance, and operations departments to forecast demand and manage budgets.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, product availability, and new suppliers.
• Receive products from vendors and ensure timely delivery of emergency and routine requisitions.
• Participate in audits and ensure proper documentation of all procurement processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical procurement, supply chain, or a related role.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical inventory management, and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
