We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities
Facility Maintenance and Operations:

  • Manage and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring all equipment and systems are functioning optimally (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, lighting).
  • Coordinate routine repairs and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Monitor and manage service contracts (cleaning, security, waste disposal, etc.).

Vendor and Contractor Management:

  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Monitor contract compliance and manage vendor relationships.
  • Handle procurement of supplies and materials needed for facility operations.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE):

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Manage emergency preparedness plans, including fire drills and safety protocols.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor and control facility-related expenses within the approved budget.
  • Track inventory and manage stock levels of essential supplies.

Communication and reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on facility operations, incidents, and maintenance activities.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries or complaints from staff, tenants, or clients.
  • Coordinate facility-related activities during events or special projects.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in facility management or related roles.
  • Knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and maintenance processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software is an advantage.
