We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fashion Production Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Monday - Saturday (8am-6pm)

Job Summary

  • The Production Manager will oversee the entire production process, ensuring that garments are produced efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest quality standards.
  • This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage a team of production staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and sales teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed.
  • Ensure all products meet the fashion house's quality standards.
  • Implement quality control checks at various stages of production.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the production team.
  • Provide training and support to production staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews and address any staffing issues.
  • Manage the production budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices for materials.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to minimize waste.
  • Ensure the production facility complies with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols for the production team.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and standards.
  • Continuously evaluate production processes and suggest improvements.
  • Implement lean manufacturing techniques to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in production technology.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 3 years minimum experience as a Production Manager in the fashion industry with relevant experience in tailoring
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Proficient in production management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Salary
N200,000 monthly.
