Job Summary
- The Corporate Sales Officer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and managing relationships with corporate clients.
- This role will require a strategic thinker who understands the complexities of corporate insurance and can offer customized solutions that meet the specific needs of each client.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new corporate business opportunities, leveraging industry networks, market intelligence, and strategic partnerships.
- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, with a focus on expanding the corporate client base.
- Needs Assessment & Customized Solutions: Conduct detailed assessments of client needs to recommend tailored insurance solutions that mitigate risk and add value to their business.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers in corporate organizations to ensure continued business and referrals.
- Sales Presentations & Pitches: Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the value and advantages of the firm’s insurance products and services.
- Cross-Selling & Upselling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional products or upsell higher-tier insurance solutions that better serve the client's business needs.
Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in corporate sales within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a corporate sales environment.
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of corporate insurance products, including general insurance, life insurance, and risk management solutions.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and understand client business challenges.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
