Job Summary

• They are seeking an experienced and visionary Managing Director to drive business growth, profitability, and performance excellence.
• As Managing Director, you will lead the organization, ensuring sustainable business growth, profitability, and high performance to maximize shareholder value.
• You will oversee strategic initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster relationships with stakeholders while maintaining awareness of market opportunities and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to meet profitability and growth targets as approved by the Board.
• Develop and implement short, medium, and long-term strategies for cost-effective business operations.
• Drive revenue growth and cost reduction initiatives to enhance business performance.
• Review performance reports and implement actions to improve financial and non-financial metrics.
• Ensure the company complies with all regulatory requirements and engages in socially responsible practices.
• Liaise with government, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders to protect the company's interests.
• Lead efforts to identify market opportunities and expand business horizons.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline
• Master's / MBA is a Must.
• Relevant professional qualifications (CIBN, NIM, ICAN, ACCA).
• At least 15 years of relevant experience, with 7+ years in a Managing Director role within a financial institution.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and financial management skills.
• Proven track record of driving business growth and profitability in a competitive industry.
• Deep commercial awareness and industry knowledge.
