Job Title: Solar System Installation Technician

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled Solar System Installation Technician to join our team.
• The Solar Panel Installation Technician will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, or industrial rooftops and ground-mounted sites.
• The ideal candidate will have experience in solar panel installation, electrical systems, and possess a strong understanding of safety protocols.
• Must be capable of working independently or as part of a team, ensuring installations are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and maintain solar systems and related equipment according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
• Connect solar panels to inverters and other components, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system performance issues, repair or replace faulty equipment, and ensure continuous operation of solar power systems.
• Perform quality checks and post-installation inspections to verify correct functioning of solar panels, inverters, wiring, and other equipment.
• Work closely with electricians, engineers, and other technicians to complete solar installation projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Canddiates should possess an OND, HND / B. Sc. or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in solar PV systems is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in solar system installation or electrical systems.
• Experience with rooftop or ground-mount installations is a plus.
