Job Title: Service Engineer (HVAC)
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Examine existing facilities, utilities, and sites for renovation, reuse or functional modifications.
- Support the development of budget estimates, justification for requests and verify the already identified work/conditions submitted by facility managers
- Ensure that schedules, inspections, materials, methods, and equipment used in HVAC preventative maintenance, planning design, and construction of ventilation projects are appropriate
- Support the initiation of projects or provide technical assistance in identifying and/or verifying facility conditions, repair estimates, and timetables
- Supervising the service team to get timely updates and ensure proper documentation
- Coordination with OEM to ensure the warranty claim process.
- Pitch in for the AMC and spare part sales for prospective companies.
- Stay current with industry advancements and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to clients.
- Conduct site inspections to assess system conditions and requirements
- Prepare detailed reports on system performance and maintenance activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years related experience in the HVAC Field (VRV Mandatory, Applied is added advantage)
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Receptive to Travel
- Resource Management & Project Management experience.
