Job Overview

• We are seeking a reliable and experienced Laundry Attendant with 1-2 years of experience to join our team at a hotel in Omole phase 1, Lagos.
• The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, and fold all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms according to hotel standards and procedures.
• Handle guest laundry requests with care and attention to detail, ensuring proper cleaning and delivery back to guests.
• Identify and treat stains on linens, towels, and guest garments, using appropriate cleaning agents.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of hotel materials.
• Monitor stock levels of laundry supplies (detergents, fabric softeners, etc.) and report any shortages to management for timely restocking.
• Perform regular maintenance on laundry equipment to ensure proper functioning, and report any technical issues to the supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols while handling laundry materials and operating machinery.
• Sort and fold clean laundry, ensuring that all items are properly organized and stored.
• Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to guest rooms, housekeeping, and other departments.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of experience working in a laundry department, preferably within a hotel or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of laundry procedures, stain treatment, and proper handling of different fabrics.
• Ability to operate laundry machines and equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently.
• Good physical stamina, as the job involves standing, lifting, and carrying laundry items.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Preference for candidates living near Omole, Lagos, or willing to relocate to the area.

Salary & Benefits

• N80,000 monthly.
• HMO, Pension.
