Job Overview

• We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate with a passion for fabrics and fashion. The ideal candidate will be customer-oriented, able to leverage social media platforms, and comfortable handling both in-store and online sales.

Responsibilities
In-Store Sales:

• Greet and assist customers with fabric selection and provide product information.
• Maintain an organised and attractive store layout.
• Handle transactions using the point-of-sale system.

WhatsApp /Instagram Sales:

• Manage and respond to customer inquiries through WhatsApp and Instagram.
• Share product images, videos, and detailed descriptions to enhance customer experience.
• Work closely with the inventory team to confirm stock availability.
• Facilitate smooth payment and delivery processes for online customers.

Social Media Engagement:

• Use Instagram and Facebook to highlight new products, promotions, and trends.
• Create compelling and visually appealing content to boost engagement and sales.
• Respond promptly to comments and direct messages, ensuring exceptional customer service.

Customer Service:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business.
• Collect feedback and provide insights to improve the customer experience and product offerings.

Inventory Assistance:

• Assist with receiving, organising, and displaying new stock.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items.
• Ensure products are accurately labelled and priced.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of OND qualification in relevant field.
• Experience: Prior retail sales experience is preferred, with knowledge of fabrics or fashion being an advantage.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using social media for business, particularly WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to take high-quality photos and videos for social media content.
• Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to tasks.

Salary
NGN 90,000 / month.
