Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Job Overview

  • We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Officer to identify growth opportunities, foster client relationships, and drive sales.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in business development, particularly in fashion or textiles, and excel at working both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research to identify potential markets and customer needs in the fabric sector.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, retail expansions, and potential distributors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, both existing and new, to ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business growth objectives and increase market share.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and other relevant events to build a strong network and promote the company’s offerings.
  • Draft business proposals and close deals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales and product development teams to align business development activities with overall company goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: OND in Business, Marketing, or related fields (preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in fashion or textiles.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the fashion and textile industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); CRM knowledge is a plus.

Salary
N120,000 Monthly.
