Job Title: Procurement Staff

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company acquires quality products and services at competitive prices. The Procurement Staff member will handle day-to-day procurement activities, including supplier sourcing, purchase order processing, and inventory management, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Department: Procurement / Supply Chain
  • Employment: 1 year Contract (Subject to Renewal)

Responsibilities

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers to meet the company's procurement requirements, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier communications.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
  • Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and support budgeting activities to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential suppliers.

Qualifications

  • HND or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  •  A minimum of 2years experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role.

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Ability to analyze data and perform cost analysis.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and logistics is an advantage.
