Location: Ojo, Lagos

Requirements

• Applicant for the position of Lecturer I must possess B.Sc, M.Sc or M.A and a Ph.D in Border and Migration Studies. Applicants without a Ph.D in Border and Migration Studies but in areas such as International Relations and Strategic Studies, History and International Studies, Diplomacy, Peace and Conflict Studies, Diaspora Studies, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology, History, Geography, Transport and Logistics, Cultural Studies, Literature, Theatre Arts and the Languages but with bias for Border and Migration Studies may be considered. Such applicant must present evidence of their bias which shall include but not limited to publications, practical work experiences and involvement in policy formulation for relevant border and migration related agencies or served in such committees nationally and internationally;
• Applicant must have a minimum of five (5) academic publications in recognised journals of local and international repute; and
• Applicant must have a minimum of three (3) years post Ph.D experience in an academic or relevant institution and demonstrated practical knowledge of chosen area of specialisation.
