Description
Pizza Preparation & Cooking:
- Prepare various types of pizza dough, including traditional and specialty varieties.
- Create pizzas with different toppings, sauces, and cheeses based on menu offerings.
- Cook pizzas in ovens at appropriate temperatures and monitor for perfect texture and doneness.
Ingredient Preparation & Quality Control
- Prepare and handle ingredients, such as slicing meats, cheeses, and vegetables.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, stored correctly, and meet quality standards.
- Make sauces, marinades, and dough from scratch when required.
Menu Development:
- Design and develop new pizza recipes, including gourmet and specialty pizzas, to match continental themes.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team on seasonal offerings, incorporating fresh ingredients.
Kitchen Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following food safety and hygiene standards.
- Sanitize equipment, tools, and cooking areas regularly.
- Ensure ovens and other kitchen appliances are maintained and in good working order.
Inventory & Supplies Management
- Monitor ingredient stock levels and inform management of restocking needs.
- Maintain an organized storage area, ensuring first-in, first-out (FIFO) rotation.
- Manage costs by reducing waste and using ingredients efficiently.
Customer Interaction (if needed)
- Occasionally interact with customers for feedback or custom requests.
- Take special orders and accommodate dietary needs when feasible.
Team Collaboration
