We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) Maintenance Specialist 

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

  • The Remotely Piloted Aircraft Maintenance Specialists to ensure that each RPA works at its optimal performance.
  • Ensure utilize state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the aircraft are able to maneuver perfectly through combat environments to pinpoint the targets critical to our missions.
  • Maintain drone, support equipment, forms and records
  • Perform pre-, thru- and postflight inspections
  • Diagnose and solve maintenance problems on aircraft systems
  • Maintenance of up-to-date operational manuals, aligning with the latest standards and configurations Remove and install aircraft engine components • Inspect and identify aircraft corrosion for prevention and repair • Supervise and assist in launching and recovering aircraft
  • Participate in the discussion of such papers and provide support, information/documentation, as needed.
  • Provide and support further development of the ASBU modules related to the integration of RPAS into non-segregated airspace and at aerodromes
  • Provide comprehensive analysis of issues raised by States and international organizations and provide recommendations for appropriate solutions
  • Conduct and follow-up on actions resulting from the discussion of the papers and related recommendations, decisions or outcomes reached during the panel and working group meetings.
  • Responsible for developing all documentation and reporting of all RPAS activities and deliverables to ensure their compliance with Client's policies and procedures as well as that of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.

Requirements

  • A minimum of ten (10) years' experience in roles of increasing responsibility in the field of aviation safety, air navigation, air transport, or related area.
  • Experience in aviation operations as a pilot, engineer or air traffic controller is desirable.
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related subject
