Job Title: Marine Operations Supervisor

Job Description

  • The Marine Operations Supervisor oversees the day-to-day logistics and vessel operations to support Torupere Nigeria Limited's offshore projects.
  • This role involves coordinating with internal teams, external suppliers, and marine crews to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine support services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of marine operations, including vessel logistics, scheduling, crewing, and maintenance.
  • Supervise marine crews to ensure adherence to safety protocols, operational standards, and efficient execution of tasks.
  • Coordinate with project teams to understand their offshore support requirements and ensure timely and effective delivery of marine services.
  • Oversee the safe and efficient transport of equipment and personnel to offshore locations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of marine vessels to ensure they meet high standards of safety, maintenance, and compliance with regulations.
  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers for vessel chartering, supplies, and maintenance services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Nautical Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marine operations within the oil and gas sector, with a proven track record of managing vessel operations and logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of maritime safety regulations, operational standards, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and demanding environment.
