We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: HSE Coordinator
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Description
- Ensure compliance with client, corporate safety standards and statutory safety regulations
- Provide guidance to site HSE team to ensure efficient and effective performance of duties.
- Develop HSE inputs to satisfy tender requirements.
- Manage waste management-related projects in line with regulatory standards.
- Ensure all equipment are certified/recertified
- Procure required HSE items/consumables and maintain inventory of supplies.
- Develop and participate in the implementation of HSE plans.
- Develop communication materials for HSE trainings and drills.
- Initiate and conduct investigations and root cause analysis of incident/accident.
- Maintain coordination and management through proper reporting and maintain HSE records.
- Develop presentation slides related to HSE solutions.
- Obtain regulatory permits for services and equipment.
- Availability to go to site during any project.
Skills
- Industrial Safety Diploma
- Professional certification in safety like CSP/ CMIOSH/NEBOSCH
- Certified Auditors for ISO 9001/ OHSAS 18001 / ISO 14001
- Strong HSE awareness and commitment
- Working experience of HSE rules & regulations.
- Be fully conversant with all government and Operating Company health and safety legislation, regulations and guidelines
