Job Title: Planning Technician

Job Description
- Review and validate clarity of work requests.
- Build plans that minimize equipment downtime and maximize safe/efficient/effective use of resources.
- Initiate the interface between maintenance and other business areas to develop an integrated plan
- Initiate procurement requisitions and track status of materials and contract services
- Facilitate planning meetings as required.
- Develop standard plans and maintain library
Requirements
- 3 - 9 years HND or equivalent.
- Experience in the maintenance, repairing and testing equipment and machinery.
- Experience in use and operation of a recognized computerized maintenance management system. SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of plant shutdown planning requirements and procedures.
- Working knowledge of established computerized planning and scheduling tools, such as, SAP, Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Materials Management software like EMA.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings (P&IDs, PFDs, SLDs) and vendor documentation.
- Good written and spoken English.
