We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaner / Kitchen Assistant

Location: Queen Elizebeth,  Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure cleanliness of surroundings and sterilization/sanitation of kitchen prep area and food trays.
  • Mopping and sweeping the kitchen areas as required.
  • Removing garbage, replacing garbage bags, and washing garbage cans.
  • Clean floors, dishes, burners, and pots.
  • Prepare for opening the next morning by cleaning and shutting down fryers and broilers.
  • Work well with other employees on the cleanliness of areas assigned a variety of services property policies and procedures-oversee own responsibilities
  • Remove wash dishware, flatware, and glassware from the dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use.
  • Sanitize heavy equipment including dishwasher, mixer, and slicer.
  • Responsible for floor care, performing various surface tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and spot-cleaning carpets in all office areas.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / NCE / OND, or its equivalent.
  • Proven experience assisting in kitchens.
  • A food handler's license.
  • Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
