Descriptions
- Rebuilding of various types of pumps for onshore and offshore operations
- Rebuilding of compressors and blowers
- Balancing of rotors for various machines
- Alignment on onshore / offshore machines
Requirements
- A high level of technical knowledge and strong practical skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to work alone and as part of a team
- The ability to follow set procedures
- Computer skills
- Good communication skills
- A sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Prepare and set up equipment for operatives, either manually or by programming settings
- Respond to sudden breakdowns during a production run
- Diagnose problems quickly and fix faults on site
- Reassemble and test machinery to make sure it is safe to go back into production
- Carry out planned maintenance, for example checking circuitry
- Clean, oil and grease machinery
- Record work in detail and inform shift managers of progress or problems.
