Job Title: Cathodic Protection Engineer

Location: Sapele, Delta
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

• The Cathodic Protection Engineer will design, implement, and manage cathodic protection (CP) systems to prevent corrosion in pipelines, tanks, and other critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CP systems, including impressed current and sacrificial anode systems.
• Conduct CP surveys, assessments, and data analysis to evaluate system effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop CP procedures, specifications, and maintenance plans.
• Supervise the installation and maintenance of CP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (B.Eng / B.Tech) in a relevant field (e.g., Materials Science, Corrosion Engineering).
• 5+ years of experience in CP design and implementation in the oil and gas industry.
• NACE CP certification (e.g., CP Specialist, CP Technologist) is required.
