• The Runner position is a key support role in various industries, including film, television, live events, and hospitality, primarily responsible for assisting teams with a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations. 

Overview

• The Runner is responsible for providing general support to ensure that the team’s daily operations run smoothly.
• Handle a variety of logistical tasks, often operating behind the scenes to help productions or events stay on schedule. Runners should be flexible, reliable, and willing to complete various tasks, often on short notice.

Key Responsibilities

• Errands and Deliveries: Collecting and delivering packages, documents, or equipment to and from specific locations.
• On-Site Support: Assisting with setting up, organizing, and taking down equipment or props. Providing support to cast, crew, or event personnel as needed.
• Administrative Tasks: Helping with paperwork, managing schedules, or organizing files.
• Customer Service: Greeting and assisting visitors, clients, or talent. Ensuring they have what they need, like refreshments or information.
• Logistics and Organization: Helping to manage supplies, including restocking and preparing materials for daily operations.
• Team Communication: Acting as a point of contact to pass on messages or information quickly between departments or individuals.
