Job Title: Marine Technician

Location: Sapele, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Marine Technician will assist in the maintenance and repair of marine vessels, ensuring their seaworthiness and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of vessel engines, machinery, and systems.
• Perform routine equipment checks and inspections to identify potential issues.
• Maintain deck machinery, including winches, cranes, and mooring equipment.
• Assist in repair work, including welding, pipefitting, and electrical work.

Qualifications

• Marine engineering certification from a recognized institution.
• Engine Room Rating certification is required.
• Practical experience in vessel maintenance and repair.
• Familiarity with marine engineering systems and equipment.
