Job Summary

• The Sales Specialist - Life Sciences position aims to develop sales in the designated territory, maintain a good relationship with the customers, and focus on growing sales and achieving overall sales objectives and other defined performance metrics.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop business for life sciences accounts including product selling, cross-selling, and value-based propositions
• Develop, manage, and expand product and market know-how
• Build sound market knowledge and a customer-related network of stakeholders
• Identify, prioritize, and convert prospective business
• Execute customer visits(a minimum of 15-20 productive visits per week)
• Prepare, coordinate, negotiate, close proposals, and respond to RFQs
• Complete sales and revenue-related reporting and maintain CRM
• Manage customer and supplier-related initiatives/projects
• Assist in account receivable (A/R)recoveries and collections
• Determine focus areas and growth opportunities
• Provide scientific support and conduct presentations, workshops as well as demos for customers
• Tenders' management, bids, and quotation preparation
• Liaise with all technical and marketing personnel to offer the necessary support to distribution partners & customers and fully service their accounts
• Actively update lead and customers' data in the CRM

Requirements

• Experience in Life Science, Biotechnology, Diagnostics, Sequencing, Cell Biology, or Molecular Biology Sales (4 - 5 years)
• A graduate of Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Veterinary Science, or Molecular Biology and Genomics.
