We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Gwarinpa, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The selected candidate will handle the below task:
  • Receive, inspect, store and scan goods
  • Issue goods to the shelf attendants and help with arranging anddisplayinggoods in an orderly system within the stock location system for easy retrievals
  • Record and track stock levels
  • Monitorthedistribution of stock
  • Maintain stock records manually and/orusethe ERP inventory system in place.
  • Prepare the purchase orders,andinventories with the inventory manager and be accountable for checking the supply invoices with the purchase orders
  • Ensures that goods/stocks stay physically protected in the warehouse
  • Monitor goods for expiration dates
  • To undertake the function of stock taking and confirm the period stockregularlyby working closing with the designated staff members.
  • To supervise the offloading process, the subsequent arrangement of merchandise, etc. so that it can be accessed and identified easily.
  • To ensure the correct and timely valuation of the inventory and to be involved in directing and managing procedures related to offloading, packing and unpacking
  • Responsible for preparing the reports on adjustments done to inventory that may be damaged, spoilt, etc., and coordinates the purchasing, inventory and warehousing functions
  • Implement measures to get rid of surplus or obsolete stock.
  • Keep and maintainrecordsof receipts as well astheissuance of items that are going outofthe warehousetoensure accuracy and completeness
  • To be involved inthereconciliation of physical stock with the stock in the system.
  • Counting equipment, materials, merchandise and supplies in stock
  • Reporting discrepancies between physical counts and system records

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 monthly.
