We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project and Program Senior Associate

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
Panning:

• Develop project plan/task lists using an appropriate planning tool, across a number of functional teams working with information and direction obtained from more experienced colleagues on tasks and activities.

Stakeholder Management:

• Awareness of key stakeholders across functional areas and is able to map out stakeholder listsWith guidance able to identify the needs of stakeholders to keep them informed.

Communication:

• Communicates with a broader group of stakeholders beyond the project team using communication tools and templates.

Risk Management:

• Captures a list of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies for the various projects.· Required support to manage risks effectively.

Project / Program Delivery:

• Develops and delivers projects for the functional team, and support on cross functional projects.

Resource Management (people, finances, etc.):

• Produces schedules of activities based on peoples availability and able to identify problems which may require escalation.

Customer Care:

• Manages mid-level complexity customer deployments.· Creates and communicates with customers simple project plans for standard project milestones.
• Has a general technical knowledge of Equinix products/processes.
• Manages project activities of cross-functional groups to ensure commitments are met
• Handles mid-level escalations independently.
• Resolves standard issues independently (complex with manager assistance).

Emea Business Operations PMO Role:

• Provide administration support to Projects, Programs and PMO function
• Produces metrics through research and analysis on the performance of projects or programs to inform business cases or PMO evolution.

Qualifications, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Understanding of Project Management tools.
• Relevant certifications (e.gPMP, Scrum Master, etc) are a plus.

Demands of the Job:

• May work longer hours and on weekends.
• May travel frequently out of Lagos.
