Job Title: Project and Program Senior Associate

Responsibilities
Panning:
- Develop project plan/task lists using an appropriate planning tool, across a number of functional teams working with information and direction obtained from more experienced colleagues on tasks and activities.
Stakeholder Management:
- Awareness of key stakeholders across functional areas and is able to map out stakeholder listsWith guidance able to identify the needs of stakeholders to keep them informed.
Communication:
- Communicates with a broader group of stakeholders beyond the project team using communication tools and templates.
Risk Management:
- Captures a list of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies for the various projects.· Required support to manage risks effectively.
Project / Program Delivery:
- Develops and delivers projects for the functional team, and support on cross functional projects.
Resource Management (people, finances, etc.):
- Produces schedules of activities based on peoples availability and able to identify problems which may require escalation.
Customer Care:
- Manages mid-level complexity customer deployments.· Creates and communicates with customers simple project plans for standard project milestones.
- Has a general technical knowledge of Equinix products/processes.
- Manages project activities of cross-functional groups to ensure commitments are met
- Handles mid-level escalations independently.
- Resolves standard issues independently (complex with manager assistance).
Emea Business Operations PMO Role:
- Provide administration support to Projects, Programs and PMO function
- Produces metrics through research and analysis on the performance of projects or programs to inform business cases or PMO evolution.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Understanding of Project Management tools.
- Relevant certifications (e.gPMP, Scrum Master, etc) are a plus.
Demands of the Job:
- May work longer hours and on weekends.
- May travel frequently out of Lagos.
