Job Summary
- Our Client seeks to hire an experienced Project Manager with a background in event management and strong social media skills to oversee and execute various hospitality projects.
- This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual who can coordinate multiple projects, engage clients, and manage social media channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and a creative approach to project management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that all aspects of projects are executed on time and meet quality standards.
Event Management:
- Lead the planning and execution of events, including logistics, staffing, vendor coordination, and client communication.
- Manage onsite event operations, including setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring a seamless experience for guests.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event objectives and deliver solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
Social Media and Digital Engagement:
- Oversee social media content strategy, planning, and posting to promote events and the hospitality brand.
- Engage with online communities, respond to customer inquiries, and monitor trends to keep the brand relevant.
Client Relationship Management:
- Address client needs proactively and manage expectations to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
- Build and nurture relationships with repeat clients to promote loyalty and future business.
Quality Assurance and Reporting:
- Monitor project performance and implement improvements based on feedback.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry best practices in all project and event executions.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the hospitality or events industry.
- Proven experience managing events from concept to completion.
- Proficiency with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook,
- Twitter, LinkedIn) and familiarity with analytics tools.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello) and social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required by event schedules.
