Job Overview

• The Tax Accountant will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws and regulations. This role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing strategic advice to optimize the company's tax position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns in compliance with local and federal tax regulations.
• Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and identify opportunities for tax savings.
• Assist in tax audits and provide documentation and support as required by tax authorities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide tax advice on business transactions and planning strategies.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company's operations.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of tax filings and related documentation.
• Support the finance team in financial reporting related to tax provisions and liabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including corporate tax compliance.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
