Job Description

• We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to join our team.
• The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting monthly audits, reviewing financial records, and ensuring that all financial processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• This mid-level role is crucial for maintaining accuracy, identifying areas for improvement, and supporting overall financial integrity within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of financial documents, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Review monthly financial statements and reports to detect inconsistencies, errors, or potential risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, analysis, and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Work closely with the finance team to implement effective internal controls and improve financial operations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current financial procedures and make recommendations for process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and identify any compliance gaps.
• Assist with special audits or investigations as required by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in internal auditing, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify discrepancies and compliance issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and collaboration with team members.
• Familiarity with audit software and financial reporting systems.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to pharmaceutical finance is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or ACA (Associate CharteredAccountant) are advantageous.

Salary
N250,000 / month.
