Job Title: Logistic Clerk

Job Summary

  • We're seeking a Logistics Clerk to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and supporting our daily logistics activities. As a Logistics Clerk, you'll be responsible for coordinating and executing key logistics tasks. This role demands attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Entry & Record Keeping: Accurately maintain logs, schedules, and other data records related to logistics and shipments.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing stock levels, tracking incoming and outgoing shipments, and coordinating with warehouse staff.
  • Documentation Support: Prepare and file necessary paperwork for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and manifests.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide timely updates to clients on the status of their shipments and respond to inquiries professionally.
  • Team Coordination: Collaborate with logistics team members to ensure the seamless flow of goods from arrival to delivery.
  • Scheduling: Assist in coordinating transport schedules and updating routing information.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all tasks follow company policies and relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent, with basic computer skills, especially in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Experience: Prior experience in a logistics or clerical role is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.

Salary
N60,000 - N80,000 (based on experience and performance).
