Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our growing real estate company. This role will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial accounts.
• Prepare and file tax returns.
• Track and analyze project costs to ensure profitability.
• Prepare budget forecasts and variance analysis.
• Implement cost-saving measures and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
• Identify trends and potential risks in financial performance.
• Prepare financial forecasts and projections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACA) is preferred.
• 1-2years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Salary
N150,000 / month.
