We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cleaning Technician

Locations: Ibeshe and Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
  • Review work schedules.
  • Creating and managing team schedules.
  • Timeously requesting for cleaning materials, consumables & equipment’s.
  • Evaluating performance and providing feedback.
  • Manage a team’s progress and maintain a positive environment.
  • Help to resolve employee issues and disputes.
  • Report to the line manager.
  • Ensure all staff are aware of the health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Sources for new staff within his/her jurisdiction to manage cases of down time
  • Train new hires.
  • other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preferably in mining or industrial sites.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial cleaning procedures and familiarity with heavy machinery.
  • OND/NCE/DIPLOMA/HND or any other qualification.
  • Familiarity with industrial sites safety standards and hazardous material handling.

Skills:

  • Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, prolonged standing, and working outdoors.
  • Ability to operate pressure washers, hand tools, and other cleaning equipment.
  • A commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Ability to train and induct new hires.
  • Ability to use rotary, pressure washer and vacuum machines.
  • Good time management, team management, workflow and project management.
  • Ability to listen to and understand information.
  • Ability to implement and adhere to standards and procedures.
  • Good interpersonal skills, decision making, verbal and written communication.
  • Ensure that a first-class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building.
