The Federal University of Agriculture Zuru was established following the assent to its establishment bill by the President, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari GCFR on 25th July, 2019, making it the fourth University of Agriculture in Nigeria, situated in the Northwest region of the country. The University operates three Colleges with ten (10) degree-awarding programs in Agriculture, Basic Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine.
