Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our financial department. The responsibilities of an Account Officer include keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and processing invoices
  • Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
  • Sending bills and invoices to clients
  • Tracking organization expenses
  • Processing refunds
  • Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Creating and monitoring budgets.
  • Preparing financial reports.
  • Maintaining customer accounts.
  • Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
  • Secures financial information by completing data base backups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related courses.
  • Minimum of 2years proven work experience as an Account Officer.
  • Able to work well within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Salary
N120,000 / month.
