Job Description
- We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Officer to assist in our financial department. The responsibilities of an Account Officer include keeping financial records up-to-date, checking for inaccuracies in invoices, and handling queries on general accounts.
Responsibilities
- Creating and processing invoices
- Cross-checking invoices with payments and expenses to ensure accuracy
- Sending bills and invoices to clients
- Tracking organization expenses
- Processing refunds
- Managing financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Creating and monitoring budgets.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Maintaining customer accounts.
- Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related courses.
- Minimum of 2years proven work experience as an Account Officer.
- Able to work well within a team.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
