Job Description

• Reliance Health is seeking health professionals to contribute to data management project by annotating medical terminologies, investigations, procedures, and drugs using a standardized terminology tool. • Annotate medical terminologies, investigations, procedures, and drugs using a standardized terminology tool. The Standardization Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all medical terms, procedures, and drugs are accurately mapped to the correct standardized code.
• Ensure compliance with the company’s standards, regulations, and best practices related to tariff naming, coding, referencing and upload
• Collaborate with supervisors to review standardized tariffs and ensure that they are done adequately
• Maintain accurate records of all standardized codes and ensure that they are up-to-date for ease of reference.

Requirements

• Minimum of a First Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Nursing. No clinical experience is required but it will be an added advantage irrespective of first degree.
• Experience with medical terminology, tariff management and diagnoses and tariff coding, as well as experience with standardization processes is an added advantage.
• Excellent numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite or Google Suite of products.

Remuneration

• Remuneration will be monthly but calculated based on the total number of completed tariffs at the end of each monthly review and paid at 15 Naira per validated tariff. This may range between N80,000 - N100,000 Naira per month.
