Job Title: Wellness Assistant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Temporary

Job Purpose

• The Wellness Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the wellness centre under the supervision of the Wellness Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
Include:

• Assisting with the screening of new enrollees to the SHE centre
• Providing first aid support services as required
• Supporting documentation and timely reporting
• Contributing to the smooth running of the hub.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Wellness Coordinator (Nurse):

• Provide basic health support to the Wellness Centre
• Support the provision of first aid for hub visitors, staff, and enrollees
• Assist in the daily activities of the Wellness Centre
• Help integrate wellness, mental health, and fitness activities into the hub’s daily routines
• Contribute to demand creation activities to increase uptake of available health services
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• The ideal candidate will be a Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW), Nurse, or allied health professional with relevant experience.
• Experience working in Lagos State and familiarity with critical stakeholders is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English is essential, with competencies in public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation.
• Ability to communicate in the local language and good knowledge of the terrain are advantageous.
