Job Title: Group Internal Auditor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a competent and seasoned Internal Auditor to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• The ideal candidate will possess expertise in modern audit techniques, including forensic audit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based internal audits to identify control gaps and areas for improvement
• Develop and implement audit plans, programs, and procedures
• Evaluate internal controls, risk management, and governance processes
• Conduct forensic audits and investigations as required
• Provide recommendations for process improvements and ensure implementation

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' internal audit experience in the upstream oil and gas industry
• Knowledge of modern audit techniques, including forensic audit
• Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
