We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Makeup Artist

Location: Ogba, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Apply makeup/ style hair to enhance the appearance of Anchors and guest(s).
• Communicate with the Head of Production, Producers or Associate Producers to ensure the desired look is achieved.
• Remain on set, applying touch-ups as necessary.
• May also be sent to a shoot location if and where necessary.
• Expected to keep stock of the makeup inventory and request for more stock as needed.
• Expected to work on public holidays as is the Company’s usual practice as a 24/7 News Station unless otherwise instructed.

Person Specification

• B.Sc in Communications or a related field.
• 1-3 Years of experience in TV make-up.
• Excellent time management and organization skills.
• Good knowledge of television production makeup feels.
• Energetic and friendly personality.
• Available to work weekdays and shifts sometimes later, if need be, and available for station weekend events as well.

Organization skills:

• The ability to work under constant deadlines.
• Ability to calmly handle live TV situations and changing events.
• Can multi-task under pressure.
• Utilizing social media pages to promote the News Central brand.
