Job Title: Head, Consumer Lending

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

• The Head of Consumer Lending is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the organization's consumer lending business to new heights while maintaining robust risk management practices.
• This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of our consumer lending products and services while building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive consumer lending strategy.
• Deposit mobilization
• Oversee the consumer lending team, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks within the consumer lending portfolio.
• Drive growth in the consumer lending portfolio through targeted products and services.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance customer acquisition and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer lending, preferably in a managerial role.
• Knowledge of IPPIS
• Strong knowledge of lending regulations, risk management, and credit analysis.
• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of achieving lending targets and managing high-performing teams.
