Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate must have industry experience ( paint industry)- selling industrial paints to the oil & gas industry clients.

Responsibilities 

  • Develop The clients Industrail Sales Growth strategy and lead the technical sales team to deliver it.
  • Develop and drive the achievement of the clients Industrial Sales Growth strategy
  • Drive prospecting efforts in securing new businesses and opportunities
  • Maintain good relationship with existing clients and explore business enhancement
  • Increase market share of industrial coatings in Nigeria whilst pursuing regional presence in Africa with clear channel and route-to-market strategy
  • Drive the effort to make the clients products specified on large scale projects across the country and the go-to-paint brand within the marine and Oil & Gas project space
  • Proactively identify and engage with key decision makers in the construction & industrial sector
  • Analyze and interpret competitor behavior in line with channel strategy.
  • Prepare monthly report on all sales activities, highlighting opportunities for additional or new business.
  • Maintain close contact with each Technical Sales Manager (TSM) and collate report on sales and profit performance, market trends, competition, and other issues, which may impact on profit and customer / the clients relationship.
  • Ensure the clients participation in marine/ oil and gas conferences, professional events and public events or ceremonies involving corporate contacts.
  • Work with the TSMs in resolving customer complaints.
  • Train, coach and develop a successor
  • Coach and train ALL team members
  • Ensure the implementation and 100% compliance of the business unit to the company’s sales policies and terms of trade.

Requirements

  • 7-10 yrs experience
  • Industry experience
  • Have strong technical knowledge
  • People Management experience
  • Proven Key accounts management 
  • Strong knowledge on Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry
