We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Plant Operator

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Contract
Duration: 3-year renewable contract           

Duties

  • Operate central air-conditioner chiller on a rotational nigh/day shift.
  • Perform periodic maintenance of insulating material on chillers and cleaning of chillers with chemical.
  • Carry out maintenance, daily checks, and urgent repairs of the large condenser and chiller pumps, service and repair of cooling towers.
  • Carry out routine check and maintenance of the large walk-in air handling unit in all buildings.
  • Assist in installation of air condition as need, repair of refrigerators, water coolers etc.
  • Keep record of data on daily operation of central air conditioning chillers.
  • Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications                       

  • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of four (4) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Have the ability to read engineering drawings in details. 
  • Have ability to use all equipment in the workshop.
