Marketing Technician at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA)

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Marketing Technician

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Contract
Duration: 6 months’ renewable                  

Duties

• Provide day-to-day administrative and sales support for the Corporate Store.
• Attend to customers’ needs at the Corporate Store daily and as needed on holidays or weekends.
• Support sales and distribution of promotional items at various events, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and workshops, as needed,
• Provide records of sales (daily/weekly) and goods inventory monthly for The Corporate Store,
• Support in developing business development plans and marketing collaterals for the Corporate Store,
• Perform any other responsibilities as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications                        

• National Diploma in Business Administration or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment

The ideal candidate must:

• Have good marketing skills.
• Have good communication (written and oral) skills.
