Junior Accountant at Enej Supermarket

Enej Supermarket, a one-stop Shop Retail Outlet, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Orchid Road, Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday. Two Saturdays in a month 8am to 3pm

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor receivables and payables: Process invoices and follow up with vendors. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial records as well as their compliance with relevant laws
• Prepare monthly Financial report
• Offer guidelines on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization to management
• Prepare monthly income and financial reports
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations. Resolve discrepancies and issues related to bank transactions.
• Expense Tracking: Monitor and track company expenses. Ensure all expenses are properly documented and categorized.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting entries.
• Ensure the accuracy of financial data and documentation.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND or B.Sc. Degree in Accounting with 1-5years’ experience.
• Experience in a similar position from a Supermarket is preferred.

Salary
N150,000.00 Monthly (Net)
