The Anglican Church of the Pentecost, located at Goodness Estate, Off Arulogun Road, Ojoo, Ibadan,  is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Church Organist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Part-time

Role Overview

• The Organist will provide musical support during worship services, upholding the rich tradition of Anglican hymns and liturgical music.

Key Responsibilities

• Play the organ during Sunday services, weddings, funerals, and other church events.
• Lead and accompany the congregation in singing Anglican hymns and liturgical responses.
• Attend Saturday rehearsals to prepare with the Choir Master.
• Maintain and care for the church's Keyboard/Organ and other musical instruments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing the Keyboard/Organ, with a focus on Anglican hymns and liturgical music.
• Familiarity with the Anglican liturgical calendar and its musical requirements.
• Ability to play, read, and interpret musical notations and hymnals (beginners are welcome).
• A commitment to upholding the spiritual and musical traditions of the Anglican Church.
• Prior experience as a church organist or in a similar role is an advantage.

Salary
N30,000 - N40,000 Monthly.
