Job Title: Piping & Layout Engineer
Location: Warri, Delta
Responsibilities
- Execute the activities within own area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QAQC and HSE requirements.
- Develop a technology know-how and commercial support to the Contract Team
- Knowledge of bidding/commercial proposal development
- Analyse technical documents (e.g. specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks
- Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work
- Monitor and report actual progress including 3D/check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documents
Qualifications and Requirements
- Candidates should possess an Engineeering Degree / Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent in recognized Institution.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in such position in a well-established training organization or related organization.
- Must be certified in the following areas of competence:
- Registered Engineer (COREN) or its equivalent
- Autodest AutoCAD
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition Certification (SCADA) Certified Project/Quality Manager.
