Integrated Services Consulting Firm - Our client in the Oil & Gas / Energy Services respectively, due to growth, is desirous of hiring qualified and very experienced personnel to fill the position below:

Job Title: Risers Engineer

Location: Warri, Delta

Responsibilities

• Executes the activities within his area of responsibility, ensuring the compliance with the QA/QC and HSE requirements
• Review Client technical documentation and requirements
• Ensure an adequate standard of technical documentation and contribute to update standards
• Prepare the design basis/CTRx riser design and interface with the relative process and structures
• Prepare the technical specifications and data sheets for material purchasing and ancillary structures
• Prepare evaluation reports relevant to tests performed by suppliers both during qualification or construction phases
• Assist with the selection of laying, installation of ancillary structures and spread/methods
• Perform/verify all discipline analyses and calculation notes required to design the riser system

Qualification and Skills

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Subsea Engineering, or equivalent from a reputable Institution.
• Minimum of 10 years work experience with at least 5 years relevant experience directly related to riser and pipeline systems within an upstream Deepwater or similar environment.
• Experience with analysis techniques for offshore pipeline and riser construction.
• Good understanding and application of relevant Industry standards and codes (DNV, API, ASME, etc.).
